The “Malleta” is a semi-wired combination rope, designed to fulfil a specific function of the bottom trawl fishing. It is located between the trawl doors and the footrope, usually in the sweeps, and sometimes also in the lower bridles.
The Atlantic Malleta has an Itsasplus cover. It is specially indicated to be used on extremely aggressive sea beds, due to its long durability and low elongation.
